Anyone been and registered with the new Mamod site?
Its better than the previous incarnation, but is still in many respects woefully inadequate. I read that perhaps they should hire 'talent' from another forum!!! que every 'know-all' who has read the book by Malins . . .
Will watch the site closely . . . the site does need better imagery, descriptions and on-line ordering, but its a start and a move in the right direction and all sorts of tub thumping from Johnny come latelies isn't going to improve it one jot . . . _________________

Is there any benefit in registering?
I've had a look at the site and would admit that some better images would be nice. On line ordering is available, but you'd be crazy to buy direct at those prices when you can negotiate a hefty discount from one of their authorised dealers.
As you say, it is a step in the right direction though.
A few interesting terms I see
From their terms and conditions:
| Quote: | Children Under 18
If you are under 18, you must ask your parents or a guardian before you:
- E-mail the website, or ask mamod.co.uk to e-mail anything to you;
- Send in any information to mamod.co.uk
- Buy anything online
By continuing to use this website and any of the services offered, you are confirming that you have received the consent of your parents or a guardian. PLEASE NOTE that all minors are recommended to discuss these terms and conditions with their parents before they complete the registration process.
In return for allowing you to use the mamod.co.uk web site and benefiting from our services, you agree that any information you provide us about yourself at any time will be true, accurate, current and complete and that you will ensure that this information is kept accurate and up to date. If incorrect information is supplied any contractual obligation mamod.co.uk has is immediately null and void. |
From their how to order page:
| Quote: | | ...There is no refund or exchange on DVD's, books, sale items, underwear and jewellery unless proven faulty... |
Perhaps some new lines appearing soon? |

I was on there last night with the intention of registering
But there doesnt seem to be any benefit in registering
Unless you intend to buy something from there

Have you tried clicking the accesories tab
