Dear members due to some trouble caused in a small tea cup very far away, can we please ensure that all images posted on this forum are legit, ie if they are not yours make sure you have permission to use them. If in doubt DONT use it. If it aint yours, it aint to be used.
Hope this makes admin's position on this matter clear.

Further to recent events (Feb 2008), can I make my position clear with regard to the use of any of my artwork, be it a reproduction logo, one of my photographs or steam illustrations...
In simple terms ASK FIRST! I can only say Yes or No! A simple email or PM is all that is needed.
Communication is all everything.
I am happy for other toy steam enthusiast to use my images with conditions, the use of my work can be discussed at the time of request. Please bear this in mind when wanting to reprocuce any of my work.

As a postscript to the general accepted standards to copyright here, can I ask all members to respect the copyright of images used on the Toy Steam Bible. Recently some individual seemed to think it fit to 'borrow' images from it and use it elsewhere, without (in his case me) the owners permission, assuming as fools do, that its OK to use them. Well it isn't so I hope that makes it clear. Mike who runs the resource has clearly written instructions on copyright. After a recent spat with the other side, common sense has finally won the day and only LINKS to the images are now in the thread which is the bone of contention. Links to the Bible images are permitted.
