Many thanks for all your kind comments.
About a year ago a friend showed me a Bing candlestick, and at that stage my interests had slipped away from toyshop steam, however i decided i would buy one, which i did. As soon as it arrived, my interest in toyshop steam was rejuvenated and since i have tried to focus my collection to candlestick engines and so far have approx 30, with a couple more on the way. I've convinced myself that its ok to keep collecting this type of engine because they take up far less space, however they are only a small part of the collection so shortly something will have to give!
I was planning on exhibiting a wide selection of engines at that particular show however due to the organiser messing up with the table plan / space i was only given half the promised space. |
