Hi Guys, I did see it but didn't go for it. I promise a new post soon about Mamod's steam vans. I ended up going for a different model and now when it arrives I'll start a new thread.

I have heard the story about the Mamod Ambulance before. But there seemed to be something just not right about that model and nothing with it that says it's not just a conversion started in someones garage.

I agree Chris, its not a big conversion and saying it was an unfinished project may be true, it sounds pluasible but without proper historical provenance and some evidence its a hard one to call.
