Will someone measure for me, the height from the bottom of the firebox to the centre of the vent holes. Also the distance from the two ends of the firebox to the centre of the first vent holes and the distance between centres of two vent holes.

Thanks Mike!

I now am surrounded by Bowmans in bits, however I can't measure everything I want to as my Vernier has run out of batterys-damn digital stuff! Laughing

I need to convert from decimal inches ie, 1.25" to 1 1/4", for the easy ones like that its okay, but for 7/32" or something similar is there a programme or equation I can use?

I didn't think to look in my Zeus book! First page Laughing

Edit, just checking, the information I have in this chart is about the decimal and fractional equivilants of drill sizes up to 1". Can I use this for the fractional equivilants of measurments other than drill sizes?

I haven't got my grandad here to help me Laughing
