it does not work as well as it should so some fine tuning needed

Keep at it Dennis, that looks very good indeed, Id love to have a proper explanation of the controls. They are fascinating to watch working.

video of it finally going unhappy with controls and the fact of having to stop engine to start in reverse so my improved version on the lounge floor in a million pieces now

Its a complex model, you seem to be having some success. Fred Crammond has one of these and successfully operates at steam displays, it was at Kempton last year and looked most impressive, he may be able to help you iron out any problems and teething troubles.

I used to operate one of those years ago, except it was diesel powered.
Complex mechanicaly, and difficult to operate (two pedals, and three levers). You've made a wonderful job of this!!!
