Hi all!

Has anybody ever sucessfully fitted remote control to a Mamod traction engine?

I have seen it somewhere, it involved fitting a servo to the canopy I seem to recall, out of the heat of the firebox and then with a rod runing from the servo to the front steering rod. Wilesco do a unit which attaches to the rear scuttle and actuate the steering that way. Check their site.

I've seen a SW1 on remote. All the servo gear is in the rear under a very convincing mini tarp / load cover.
