On the way back from Amberley last night, I was relaxing on the train after a hard day's work of firing and enjoying watching all of the traction engines milling about.
Then, some chav walked past. He then stopped and walked back and asked if he could borrow my ticket! Even though I had one, I said 'No' as I thought I'd never get it back and then he asked me for advice as to how he would avoid getting caught
Then, getting off of the train at Barnham three blokes who were obviously under the influence were approaching from behind and one of them grabbed my bike and asked "Can I ride it to the bottom of the subway?"
I thought:
1) You aren't supposed to cycle down the subways
2) My bike cost £180, and I wouldn't want to have it nicked!
I told him the latter and he just replied "I'll give you a tenner", but I still said "No" as I am a man of principles...
Why is it younger people who suffer from this rubbish?! _________________

You handled it well mate.
Chris gets endless abuse in the filling station where she works, from foul language to even getting physically threatened.
all civillity seems to have gone nowadays. _________________ Regards, Jon.
