I'm hoping that the boiler is the same diameter as the old one, it'd be good if you could just slip an MSS smokeboxe with the bottom hacked off on it. _________________ Cheers,

For the money... if it runs and doesn't instantly fall to bits it is already several times better than an MSS.
Throw in the fact it has a gas burner and regulator that makes it getting on for £100 cheaper too (if these are additions you were planning on making).
Of course, if it doesn't run, and/or falls to bits then it is just as shoddy as an MSS and I will return to my theory that the best thing to do is buy an old mamod that looks as if it has been well used as at least then you know you have a runner. |

i dont think it can as i think the boile is like williams and the chimney is just riveted on, and the smokeobx space is infact part of the boiler. _________________ Rob |
