as a few of you might know, i over heated my fleischmann and the end cap came off.
well i got my hands on a freeze plug that fit and soldered it on last night.
it aint perty but it runs :'D.
heres a pic

i was being the newb i was (of course everyone is at the begining but live and learn i always say) and did not refill it between refueling and in over heated Crying or Very sad

If the endcap is lost/ruined, you could file/sand down the freeze plug so it's a closer match to the other end cap. Wink

Its a nice bit of soldering Chad but it just doesnt look right
As Nick says, cant you remove the freeze plug and file it to shape it a little more  Smile
