A project I hope to revive when time permits. There is an SP5 in there, a few images never seen before.
Drive and manualwinder:
Hook/fairlead:
With the lead counter-balance weight in its cradle the whole ensemble weighs around 16lbs. _________________

An early version of my SP5 crane. Note how the SP5 has been adapted to carry a Meccano type sprocket.

Ah OK Mike! Its a brilliant project I haven't done much 'Meccanoing' for a while now. I have a part built steam excavator but that has sort of stalled-anyone have a spare gauge glass for an SP3?
You still going for your goal of lifting a SW1 with this? _________________ Happy 30th Birthday Mamod Railway Company!
