Endlessly adaptable for all sorts of drive jobs. Replaced by the SP3 in 1979, which didn't last long - only until 1985 when sales were uneconomic. (Video games were getting popular one suspects!).
What I consider to be an essential engine which is endless fun and surprisingly powerful for the size.

Aye it does Chuck! on the SP3 version its just goes straight into the boiler - if you overfill it, it primes!! _________________

I like that method...even thought about trying it in a scratch model.
I'd worry about the join de-soldering being so close to the flame! _________________ -Chuck
