What a super engine Nick, a beauty.
As a matter of interest has Robin given up collecting? I notice his website no longer seems to be on line. His site was a huge influence when I first got into toy steam. _________________ www.steamtoys.co.uk

He sure seems to be selling off a lot of engines.
Several have been listed with very reasonable buy it nows and sold fast. |

I do like that, not my collecting sphere, but a very desirable and photogenic set up. _________________

Very nice Engine Nick, it sounds very individual too, it makes a lovely sound. _________________ Regards, Jon.

A very fine engine indeed Nick.
Does it have a trademark stamped anywhere? My understanding is that the 10/.../.. style model number is Bing Werke (post-WW1), the 130/.... is the older Gebruder Bing style. I'll check my reference books and see what turns up.
I too have noticed that Robin's website has gone. I've had some dealings with him lately so I'll ask him the question.
Back to you all later! _________________ Stephen
