It's a Doll guy's, from the late twenties as far as I know...I've just started to work on it.

That's absolutely terrific - an engine to be very proud of indeed!
Of course it's a Doll - I think it could be model 364/3, have a look at this link to the Doll on-line catalogue page: http://www.ca-si.net/fleischmann/D-Dampfmaschinen/D-Hauptgruppen/D-Liegend/D-364/D-364_3/d-364_3.html.
The only difference appears to be the position of the steamdome and type of safety valve. Do you have a better photo of the burner by any chance? _________________ Stephen

The flywheel diameter at 12.5cm makes it a 364/2 Stephen, the 364/3 had I think a 14cm flywheel.. Sorry that's the only pic of the engine I have at the moment.

The more I look at it, the more it appeals! The shape of the engineplate pedestal is most elegant and the handrail detail is lovely. Having the feed pump will make it very interesting to run - all you have to do it keep it well lubed and top up the meths - terrific! _________________ Stephen
