Well the first bit's finished...

One un-knackered safety valve...



The spring had disintegrated, the steel locknut fell to bits, but the brass was all ok as you'd expect (and that includes the spring's securing nut).

This is what it looked like:



Cleaned up with a new spring, hi-temp silicone 'O' ring and the job's done.

Can't decided which bit to tackle next!
