The name comes about from an altogether different source, John!
My street is called St. Mary's Meadow, and someone made the mistake of calling it St. Mary Mead
I was stuck with names for the layout, Brandy Hole Lane MPD was another option but St. Mary Mead was a good choice I felt. |

Will you be using Code 75 or Code 100 track? I like the idea of a mainline steam shed, much better than all those layouts that just have whatever locos on. _________________ Cheers,

Code 75, as all bar one of my locos is brand new.
Thanks, it will certainly add something different to it. Rather unlike other MPD/TMD layouts where all you see are very modern diesels like 66's and 60's. |
