I tend to specialise in DRS (Direct Rail Services) modern image stock these days. Here are some pics:
A limited edition Bachmann English Electric Type 3 (or a Class 37 to us youngsters ) for the Cheltenham Model Centre is my pride and joy. Only 512 have been made, and this is No. 501.
This is of the sub class 37/0, being one of the first built hence the split headcode boxes which have been blanked over and had lights fitted.
I am a big believer in DCC, and this 37 has a Bachmann 21 pin decoder fitted. This is how the lights stay bright constantly and on all the time until I turn them off!
DRS has a sizeable and expanding fleet of General Motors 66's. I have four DRS liveried 66's, here is just one. No 66411, an eco friendly version that hauls the 'Tesco Train':

I like the 37, not too fond of the sheds! _________________

The 37 is my favourite diesel in my collection, I just love the split boxes.
My LMS Bachmann Jubilee is my favourite steam loco however. |

It is, though. I just like the livery and it runs very well. Plus I was able to fix it (first time for everything I suppose ) when I had an unfortunate incident with some wire cutters
Second favourite has to be my Hornby Rebuilt West Country 'Westward Ho'. Love that name 8) |

Its funny, my uncle has been trying for ages to get me to go on a trip with him behind Duchess of Sutherland. He says its out of ticket next year so its a must. He's even offered to pay so it looks like it could be on. I might change my mind about the LMS yet _________________ www.mfsteam.com the home of the MFTwin and replacement parts for Mamod, Bowman, Hobbies and Cyldon Steam Engines

After my trip on The Coronation, the LNER has become more appealing as well. With the imminent release of the Bachmann Patriots the LMS is another favourite.
Still don't like the Great Way Round though |
