Will it all fit?

Been finalising my line-up, a few wont be able to make it. But the rug gives me a pretty accurate idea of the space I have to play with. The mobiles, going for the first time will be on a separate table along with the rolling road, next to my ephemera/decals and steaming/preparation area.

I will hopefully have about 8-9 engines running. The 1954 SE2 still has to have its workshop of four tools added.

Nice line up Mike.

Indeed, there is a lot of very nice stuff there! Can I recomend you put your 48 SE2 at the back as it may fall off into my oversised pockets Wink

I'm being very boring this year with just a display from a single manufacturer

There's very little new on the MF front, a new one engine display if it works.

But I've got several old engines to bring and show.
Mamod Collector

Excelent selection of engines Mike, I'm sure your display will be a real crowd puller  Smile

I'll start by only running my Stuart Turners
fcrammond

Now Stuart Turners are a particular matter. I'm inclined to the view that they are essentially Model Engineering (with the exception of the boats naturally) and as such have no place at STIA except perhaps in a minor supporting role on a tableful of real toy engines. Tread warily , my friend, or I'll put you on the Forum Table  Twisted Evil

Does that mean the legs on your tables are missing so you use Stuart No.1s instead of legs q27

That would be impressive! Laughing With each one powered by a bank of no 504 boilers Laughing  I intend to bring a workshop powered by a Stuart 10V. The rest (tools etc) is all toys. Will that be okay?

My official invite was in my email box this morning, I take it everyone had a delivery from Fred?

Im getting a bit Off topic! here, but Id like to see some Stuart stuff in the flesh so to speak. Very Happy
fcrammond

Regarding invites, I fired up the old PC the other day and it promptly posted off a load of STIA invitations that should have gone off in October. I had spotted they hadn't gone in October and repeated them with the laptop so there shouildn't have been any gaps, just extra, unwanted, invitations. Sorry about all that
