Wilesco T90

Thinking about buying wilesco T90 steam turbine are they any good !

Like all turbines they turn over extremely fast. I have some literature on it somewhere . . . . They are certainly very different. Go for it!

A turbine has been on my shoping list for a long time now
I really like the screeming sound they make
There is a video of one in action here

A dentists drill Mike . . . Laughing

The T90 is not as loud as I thought it would be from hearing it on videos.  The output pulley is geared down considerably.

Dentist drill is a very appropriate description of the sound.

It does not seem especially powerful, but is quite interesting.  I plan on connecting mine to my generator, at some point.

The entire turbine assembly is plastic.  So far, this does not seem to be a problem.

Nice engine-I am glad I got it!

I've heard the plastic often cracks at the mounting holes (but they still work fine).

EDIT: I see this is an old thread, did you ever end up buying one?
