Thanks for posting those Will. I've often wondered how this particular Wilesco accessory works. It'd be really good on a fairground display, but the delicate musical-box sound could be easily lost! It's clearly best run by the quietest engine available.

yay got my solid fuel today . so spent sometime in the garden with my D36 running the organ. played all five melodies (two still need to be punched). included in the video a giant mutant dog (Mongo)

Not being one ro plant silly ideas in people's heads, but have you thought of providing any steam-driven, electric powered amplification? Only I can't quite make out the music.
