They look fragile!

They look rather odd. I think they are mainly used as educational toys, as you can see the steam being generated in the 'boiler'. Or should that be recycled light bulb?

I have the little 00 gauge one. Quite good fun. Does about half a loop on my big layout then runs out of steam. Then it goes again an stops

No, I do like the simplicity of them,

Mine was more of a novelty.
Quite good price considering my other 00 gauge live steam loco was (when i got it) about £500.
