Two more steam engines off Chesterfield flee market todayWell as tittle
I just got myself two more steam engines off Chesterfield flee market today
A nice TE1A from around 1972,
Dealer wanted £28 I got it for £20,
Its missing the driving stick, and the box is for a SR I guess Malins ran out of the correct box's
And this one, not sure what it is £5

Im interested in that engine you got for a fiver, dont no what it is looks scrathcuilt. Probally why i like it

I wouldn't say it was for definite, but that engine you bought for £5 looks like a Hot Air Engine. I'm only saying that because the cylinder has 'ribs' like other Hot Air Engines I have seen

Its either a flame gulper engine or a small gas engine made by the L.E.E.K company as a set of castings

It must have been a rare item.
There where some nice steam items on the market last thursday
A Bing vertical, two fleischmann's and a TE unboxed
And two sets of Malkin tools on two display boards
One set consisted of a generator and three tools
The other was a generator and two tools
The dealer wanted £100 for the two sets
And wouldnt budge on price
