The Whitchurch Light (Industrial) Railway

Progress

Here is the shed so far...very difficult to photograph as no roof is fitted yet so a tarpaulin goes over the front. When finished the shed will be full double glazed and have electricity for heating and lights Very Happy

Front

Inside space (around 16'X12')

Stage 1 will exit here...

...run down here....

...and onto an inclined plane leading to the harbour! (A nicer fence will be erected...its just to make it baby proof quickly!)

The shed is now pretty much finished!

Need a bit more work on the roof before we remove the tarpaulin and to insulate the insde, then its good to go Very Happy

I am also going to start doing scale drawings soon which I shall scan and post up here  Very Happy

Looks good so far Jim, I like the idea of a harbour
Make sure you have a couple of steam boats moored up though

Thanks. We have done everything ourselves so far...bar removing the glass from the windows to fit them Laughing

The harbour won't be priority at the moment...I want to get something running but eventually there will be boats and dockside cranes Wink  Laughing

Not a permanent structure so it doesn't need it...however we did get it checked first Wink

Can I recommend Jim that you go for:
Whitchurch Industrial Light Railway
or
Whitchurch Industrial Railway

It's not going to be a 'Light' Railway if you're going to use G Scale track, railway names don't have brackets in the middle of them, if you insist on 'Light' then it should always come directly before 'Railway'.
