I finally submitted 3 engines and hope to add a lot more.
I made a suggestion that the engines be listed by the date they were made, and Michael is looking into fixing this. The only problem will be that so many engines are listed as circa 1950. Here's an example of what I mean, eight SE1's all in a different order:

He also asked me if I had any other suggestions, but I can't think of any, can you guys?

I should add this is a superb resource, the variety of marques and engines is remarkable. There are loads of SE2s and SE1s on their so if you are researching an engine, this forum and the TSB is really all you'll need.*

These are both good resources, but "Toy Steam News" http://www.toysteam.co.uk/ has to be included. It is generally the primary source for most information.
