The P&GLR: Site preparationI could have sworn I'd started a thread here on my soon to be garden line, but I couldn't find one in this board.More info on the project can be viewed here: www.freewebs.com/pandglr Today I have started clearing the site where the railway is to start from. Here's a pic taken last October: 
I'm currently working on a patch 2 feet along from the wall on the left; bit by bit to clear out all the roots, leaves etc. In this 2 foot square patch I have removed the yellow bush you can see lower left and run a fork through it to break up the clumpy soil. I've also cleared some of the ivy on the fence in this section. No pics yet, might as well wait until something is there! |

Just had a look at the plans and extra photos Simon
Its gona be quite a big layout and will be most impressive when finished I like the part where you are gona remove your mums washing line

Note to self: Slap patents on everything
Easter half term is the week after next after next (I think!) so I plan to do a lot of work in that time, needless to say pics and updates will be posted in that time
