Manx may have, I beleive it was an export variation - I could be wrong.
(PS I have moved this to general steam area, so the ref area only has facts and images)

The Mamod 'Bible'? I have one and regularly refer to it, the only thing with cream wheels in there is of a Brown SW1.

Lightish!
However the colour pics show all red wheeled tractors and the only b/w one of a TE is defiantely a red wheeled 1963 version. The only B/w I can recall is of the TWK and lumber wagon, if my memory serves me right, which can be construed as a cream wheeled tractor, I dont have my copy to hand at the moment.

this is interesting so i could be an eye problem

Not necesarily - the TWK is a totally different variation of the TE1a.

I added it, I had a spare.

Is that one unfired looks very clean

I have fired it a couple of times, it runs OK, but probably need running in more. It tends to loose steam pressure - not from a leak but by dint of the fact that solid fuel is poor.

This is all my fault. I don't have my copy of the Malins book with me but at the back it has lists of Mamod products and when they were made. In the middle of the list for the TE is a line that says something like..... special version, made for export, with cream canopy and wheels...... or something like that.
Anyway that's the only mention I've ever seen for a TE with cream wheels. I've never seen a pic... However, somewhere out there is a model I'd love to own because it is now the only 'offical' gap I think in my TE collection.
