STIA 2009The plan is to post Snailmail invitations and application forms to all on my list on Wednesday 1st October. E-mail invitations will be mailed out on Friday/Saturday 3rd/4th and application forms will be available on the website www.stationarysteamengines.co.uk/stia from 15th October. This should give my regular exhibitors a reasonable chance of a good spot without too seriously damaging the chances of Newbies. Be warned, applications received after 1st January will be treated with contumely.
See you all

My application arrived on Friday, will be getting it off soon! How many other members are attending? Its not until February so plenty of time for you to plan! PM me if you need any advice.
I shall be there with some different stuff and familiar stuff I will be carrying the forum name etc, I am certainly not expecting members here to if they do not want to, no pressure will be put on my members to conform as I know for sure what is being applied by some gimps elsewhere.
Should be a great show.

What are the dimensions of the tables roughly Fred? I know you told me last year but I didn't right it down
|
fcrammond
|
Standard trestle table size roughly 2ft by 6 ft. We have to get them from all over so there is some variation. I'm looking out for some extra large ones for use by poachers

Can you poach me two!

And me
Those workshops and generating plant's take up some space
|

I think I may bring some shelves to go on my table this year as I ran out of space last time

You have to come from Lincolnshire to be a poacher.

I was thinking in terms of needing extra large tables.

Even so we don't open in January any more. It's quite handy in a way as it gives me more freedom to set up for STIA but it does tend to reduce the visitor numbers
