Some images from the archives/2 - 1963 N&B TE1 refurbishNot much of a refurb more of a clean, degrease and derust ...
This was done 2006 as well...
As purchased (41) in 2006 - very tired but still alarmingly attractive... (bit like me! )
Dismantling...
Exhaust chamber...
Canopy...
Wheel removal...
Smooth f/box sides...
Cleaned up...

A stunningly popular thread this one, considering all the interest in smooth canopies at the moment!

I do love these. And for me, that's the way to do an engine up. It still has its age and character, whilst looking a bit loved and looked after. Excellent model Mike.
The latest TE1 is still sitting at under £100 and boxed. So maybe those who want one of these already have one and the general price will go down again.
