SMSEG - The stationaries & mobilesWe had a good forum presence at SMSEG with Andy & Mike, Chris, Jay, Paul, Will and myself in attendance. Needless to say this produced a large and varied amount of engines on display.
Captions anyone? Jay fires up his Mastrand roller.
Jay's David Charlton hot air engine in motion.
The decal on Jay's circa. 1950's Mamod SE1.
A small part of Jay's stand, a Crescent on the left and a Harborough Flyer on the right.
Paul's Mamod fire engine and all brass roadster.
A close up of the nose of the brass roadster.
My Cyldon 13/3 in full cry.
Jay's Weeden in motion, after an awful lot of water leakage!
Jay's nice collection of engines.
Will's Jensen 65 in full flight.
A restored Bowman M122, another victim of the taps going missing during its life.
Jay's SE1 ran ever so smoothly and quietly, unlike other Mamod engines!
A common sight at these SMSEG meets is this boxed Hobbies SE3.
Like all MEC1's and SP3's, Will's example ran like a bat out of hell.
The entirety of the engines on display.
Mike's publicity stand, to his own design.
Paul's Wells TE.
And last but by no means least, Andy's modified Wilesco Showmans.
Railway pics to come tomorrow!
If any of the guys who attended would like hard copies of any images, PM me

Great shots indeed, a real treat for the eyes....
The M122 on the wooden base has a Latimer filler funnel!
Some really nice pieces on show there, a few I wouldn't mind having myself! Great show chaps.
