How did you manage to get al those close up shots, you can't even fart at the space centre without a security pass? How far away were the lauch photo's taken from? |

No, sorry nothing so exciting as a spy, they were emailed to me has a power point slide show which I must say looks alot better with the written comments than my hubble offering. |

Sadly as a visitor you don't get very close to anything, but it's an awesome place. The sheer scale of bulidinge etc is almost beyond belief, apparently the main shuttle runway is so long that you can't see both ends at the same time due to the curvature of the earth. I visited in 2004 just after the bad storms (hurricane whatsitsname) & they were replacing the cladding on the huge building where they stand the shuttle up. |
