Handsome engines SE3's.
You can always reverse the firebox if you want Rich, although it's a bit different left as it is!

i think i,ll leave it as it is for now. eventually i,ll get it cleaned up and a lick of paint on it. it,ll have to wait abit as im still restoring a mm2, then the se2 i needed some bits for which arrived today. i had that in steam earlier and was really surprised how smooth and quite it ran. will post some pics of that one over the next few days.

There ain't too ,much wrong with that one
I'd keep it just as it is & steam it regularly.
That's what they were built for & every toy steam fan should have at
least one SE3.

Absolutely Mike, an SE3 and an M101, the twin peaks of British toy steam. (Or maybe an M122 would be a better partner for the SE3!)
