Thanks Guys , she is certainly fun to steam .
The Babcock 501 Boiler is fine for demonstration purposes only , and quickly gives up when even the lightest load is applied .
She really needs a 4" Centre flue boiler or bigger .

What about the 504 Babcock? I have yet to try mine but it is big!
Might try linking my 3 #500 Babcocks together and see what I can power with that

My S.T. catologue says the 504 will run the D 10 under light loads , so that has to be an improvement over the 501 .
I`d like to see how three 500`s linked would perform .

I must order the new catalouge! I didn't realise how big some of the Stuarts are. Was looking at the Stuart No.9 castings I have in the workshop, a 504 boiler would struggle just ticking it over I am sure
Might give the linking a go once I have got the boilers all working.
I am still looking out for a 501 to complete the set of #500 range boilers and a Stuart Score to complete my #10 set...so expensive
