some of you from the other forum would have see it but for those who havent, here they are.

i have 49 pics of my oo guage layout. its based on the transition era from steam to diesel.

there are 2 thing i would not have done if i had made it again.

firstly, i wouldnt have used any set curves. i have 1st and 2nd radius curves on here, and the deltic doesnt like them, neither does the ivatt. it just looks wrong and un-realistic.

secondly, i would have used the long points instead of the shorter ones. it looks much better when coaches are going over them, rather than quickly darting from one track to another.

just over from them, is the town station. an ivatt class 4 is about to depart, and a class 25 has just pulled in

That is rather wonderful Rob. Full of visual interest.
Love the period vehicles and architecture too. Some great visual touches in there as well.Top marks!

Thanks for sharing those Rob. I like the bike in the canal, reminds me of the time when I took a boat up the Aston flight in Brum, the water was very low and we were virtually emptying the pounds above just to fill the locks - you can imagine the stuff that was 'emerging' from beneath the waters!!!

fox - i use the camera on my phone as the digital camera im not allowed to use as i accidently dropped the last one.

mike - i dont have a track plan for it, but have a little drawing i use on the control board for the point motor switches, i can get a pic of it if you want.

i will try and get some better overall views of the layout next time i uncover it, we have also had a new addition, a bachmann class 20 with dcc sound, sounds very good.
