hi all, im thinking of branching out from stationary engines, my lovely wife has decided 6 stationary engines on a chest of drawers is enough, until i build the shelfs to put them on. with xmas approaching i,ve succesfully got her to agree to a loco . im looking at the mamod sl1 or preferably the kit built one, any advice, comments? or better still any one got one for sale?

Go for the new Mamod loco.
At a price of 199, it's well worth it!
The gas firing is very convenient as well.

Don't forget the track (extra cost sometimes forgotten in the planning stage!).
