Proper aerosol paint storageI picked up this tip from Phoenix Precision paints.
When you store your spray cans, store them CAP DOWN.
This allows the pigments to float to the top of the can, and therefore avoid clogging the nozzle.
If you store them cap up, the pigments can become hard if left undisturbed for a time and clog up the nozzle.
This is the purpose of the aggitator ball inside, if the pigments are at the nozzle end and they have hardened no matter how many times you shake the can the ball will not break it up.
So, CAP DOWN folks!

I have heard people say to store them cap down before, thanks for confirming it and explaining the reason behind it.

Worth knowing is that, when you consider how many flywheel frames you can spray with one tin of Ford Highland Green.
