Oiler ConstructionMy Luton Bowman PW203 doesn't have a vent hole in it's oiler.
But, what about the other Bowmans, M135, 122, etc.?
I'm making a drip oiler for one of my engines and wondered about this.

PW203 DOES HAVE ONE AS IT A MORE OF A DISPLACEMENT OILER!
All Bowman drip feed oilers have a vent hole in the removeable lid.

At first glance I figured the PW203's oiler was a drip type, but now I see you're right.
Also good to see those vents on the M122's drip oilers. I haven't yet vented the fill
cap on my oiler...I've had to run the engine with the oil cap off. It's the first one
I've made that really needs a good oil flow otherwise the RPMs drop dramatically.
Haven't tried making a displacement oiler yet. The drip type really does a good job,
but results in a lot of "steam cream" all over the base.

Steam cream!!!
The PW203 is less messy than an SE4 or Bowman!
