Oh s**t!Master Sleigh just sent me these couple of images from a rather nasty incident to plague those of us who play with the bigger stuff. Luckily it doesn't happen too often!
It happened today during the second day of the Mid Hants railway's Steam Gala.
The loco involved was BR Standard 5MT No. 73096.

The plug fell out of the piston crown apparently and then got trapped between the piston and the end od the cylinder. Something had to give, sometimes you get away with the cylinder cover blowing off but this looks a little more serious. I read in one of the mags that a black 5 had similar trouble last year.
