New Mamod Loco Hauls 20lbs

Not my video, but was shown this by David Terry (MD of Mamod) yesteday.

It shows the new Mamod loco on some chaps garden railway hauling a dead MSS loco and a train of other wagons amounting in weight to 20lbs.

Quite impressive I think. After seeing an example of a production model yesterday (only seen the prototypes for real before) and this video, I have decided that the Whitchurch Light Railway Company needs one and have put an order in with Messers Forest Classics and co for one when I have the money Very Happy

For anyone interested in this loco, Forest Classics will probably be at Exeter Garden Railway show demonstrating it. If they can not come then I have been asked to take a sample of the new loco, and set that will be available soon down with me Very Happy

I went up to see some engines with Phil from Forest Classics near the Mamod factory and he dropped in to grab some spares from the factory. Very Happy

Indeed you don't.  How about this little gem, it's 7/8ths of an inch to the foot scale;
