MY GARDEN RAILWAY!!! :)WELL SORT OF
Got home yesterday from France and had some good news waiting my Mum had a email from someone saying that a man who built a raised 0 gauge garden railway in his garden had died.
She said that if i wanted the boards and things from the railway ide be welcom to them
It has no track or anything but i shall buy Peco track for it
I am going out on Sunday Morning to disasemble it and take it home!
Shall also hopefully visit Claverton Pumping Station as her house is almost opposite

I intend to take a branch off of the loop where the wall is in that pic. Then take that all they way up the garden to a return loop at the top. and continue the track to the bottom with a turntable and multiple road engine shed.
Of course my Grandad AND (most importanlty) my Gran havent agreed to it yet

LGB, mutch cheaper, 45mm Peco is overpriced.
|

|
Aye but i think LGB looks overscale

Nah, that G45 stuff is almost underscale. And you've gone for an overscale gauge so it doesn't matter.

Under/over Jim - just gt some track and start running locos!

Aye but i want it to look realistic.
I prefer the Peco narrow gauge track but thats just me

Went and dissasembled it today Very happy with it!
Came apart easily.
The lady showed us some of her husbands G1 standard gauge locos such as Flying Scotsman and Mallard. My grandad was amazed by the detail of these engines. I think he quite likes them...
Now where did i put thos plans for a G1 GWR 14XX class
