Minor 2 and a bargain perhaps........This little chap arrived today, wrong way round on the base at first but sorted now. I'd be happy to think that this little engine hasn't done a deal of steaming as the firebox and decal seem really good.
£16 from you know where.......

Come to think of it, I've seen a number of Minors apparently assembled the 'wrong' way around. Is this just individuals making a mistake or were they ever produced that way?

I often wondered if the owners had turned the firebox around so they could fit a tool to the base

Hmm, that could quite well be the reasoning in a few cases. I've never actually thought about this possibillity.
