The decal for the SE4 exhibits some design variations from the one above. Colour is the main difference, but there are some slight alterations in the M and d.

Not Mamod, but a comparison for Nicks early mamod.
I have a crisper hobbies decal, but can't find a decent pic at the moment.

The Hobbies logo is relevant Mike! it clearly shows how the Mamod logo was arrived at! Cunning part on GM perhaps? I suppose these days it would be considered too close for comfort!

I couldn't believe how much of a blue color is in the lettering.
Were they originally white and have turned that color over the years?
Or does the red base underneath give it that effect?

decals are normally printed using opaque inks, so it would be the colour.
