Justa Mamod fan

Hi to all,
I'm 59 years young and had my first Mamod and SE2 at the age of around 10. In the last 3 years I have replaced my SE2 (original disappeared) with an ID with the brass whistle and regulator on the cylinder. I have also bought the engine I lusted after all those years ago a SE3  Smile Both were eBay purchases.  I also have a Mamod traction engine given to me by my brother and a number of line shafts and small tools for the SEs, again eBay purchases. I have posted a few pic's up on another forum on here and asked a few questions.  I am sure I will have many more and hope to post more pic's in the future.  Smile

I am going the Isle of man a place I love. I have been there many times and travelled on it's great railway running from Douglas to Port Erin.  Alas not this time I don't think.

Nope but I know along with the Manx railway there is a Manx model steam club and a small railway to the north of the Island I have yet to visit.

Hey, Hey - I'm a bit late spotting this new arrival!

Welcome from Yorkshire and I suppose I should say, hope you had a good break in IOM.

I'm a steam man but confess my preference for the Manx Electric as a passenger!
