Well, I now have three small marine engines Mike, but no boats as yet.

Nice job,I was reading the instructions for the twin the otherday online and it looked to me as though some of the parts are held together with self tapping screws,I think the end covers was one part with self tappers,am I correct in thinking so?

I don't know about the twin, but I doubt it.
There are no self-tapping screws in the VR1A.
