Here's some older & recent pics of my favourite engine.
Many of the pics have been seen many times before & hope you don't
get bored.
Just thought i'd collate them all together for a slideshow of its restoration from the start back in November 2006
up to last weekend when i took it out of the box for a piccy shoot
All the pics have been re-sized, so should load quickly.
Hover your mouse over the bottom right of the pic (after you've clicked play) & click on the arrowed box for full screen

Wonderful job Mike..those engines are far more complex than I thought!...also thanks to your pic of the individual parts I now understand how the piston/cylinder arrangment works (bit of a mystery to me before)
Thanks
Franco.

Working now Im home, great show, one of the best around! And its good to see it run, rather than some of the overpolished shelf queen rubbish purveyed elsewhere!!

Thanks for the positives.
I thought i'd try something different with a slide show, as a picture story board of the clean up job.
Maybe a little over polished when first done, but it now has a nice warm lustre on the brass.
Haven't steamed it recently, New Years day 2009 i think was the last time ?
Here's a couple of vids from the last 3 years.
It's very first steaming for about 70+ years
