Hi from the new guyHi all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself....my name is Liam, I'm a 40 year old health care professional based in South London.....I'm very new to toy steam, so I only have a little Mamod engine I picked up in a model shop a few years ago, but I'd like to find out more! So I guess I'll be lurking for a while and learn from reading all your posts.

I have been to East Croydon a lot, not recently however. Last time I went was when the trams were first pressed into use.

Nothing wrong with Croydon in my book, I've got relatives down there, and at least you've got the trams - Leeds failed to get enough funding!

Croydon's not too bad, although we've just had a really nasty murder not far from where I live.
The trams are good - easy access to Wimbledon Common!

 And I've just been reading a review of 'Whitechapel' which is to be aired on Monday. Coincidence?!
I went to Wimbledon Common (underground, overground Wombley Green...) some years ago with some friends of my Nan.
We went to see Caeser's well and some rather odd creatures on a field  One looked like a teletubbie!
