Glow plug engineMy two glow plug engines
The two propeller one is about 30 years old
The three propeller one and the spitfire came from a junk shop in Bridlington
It cost £1 and it was in bits similer to the photo
I do have the pilot and cockpit window for it somewhere
This is roughly how it was found
Assembled without the pilot
At least 30 year old glow plug engine

Was it a plane crash that finished it off

I took the engine out to make a Vertical take off engine and also used it for all sorts of 'experiments'

The engine in the aircraft is a Testors MacCoy 049, they also made the airframe. It was a ready to fly from the box control line aircraft.
The second engine is a Cox Baby Bee 049, cox made a huge range of small glow motors and a range of ready to fly control line models
