If I heard it right they have been fined two million pounds
For the phone poll charge scandal 
But is this a deterrent, when they conned 25 million people out of phone calls which cost £1 to make
So 25 million people pay £1 that = 25 million pounds, company is fined £2 million pounds 
This doesnt make sense
Maybe I heard the news wrong

Just Shows that the ethics of our major broadcasters isn't any higher than the gutter press. Blue Peter lying to viewers just shows that even the BBC treats everybody with complete contempt. I suspect that the results of phone in's & other viewer competitions have been fixed for years. The sincerity & integrity of producers & more importantly presenters doesn't set a good example to the rest of us mere mortals in society.
