Dynamo HelpIts been playing on my mind now to build a generating plant of some kind. and I think ove found a Nice little set up on FC's website.
http://www.forest-classics.co.uk/dyno12v6w.htm
Am just wondering if anyone has used or has one of these dynamo/bulb set ups and what are they like?

Never used one of those Will, looks a little beefier than the usual dynos around.

Just seen this lamp post for the dynamo for the first time. Is it a Jensen lamp post on a Mamod base?

It certainly looks like It !
Although it does say on Forest's website that the base is not included.

Will , comparing the output specs to some of my dynamos , i`d say this is a very strong unit . As it says in the text , it will light one small bulb from a Mamod or Wilesco engine , but i think it would light up a small Town if driven by a big Jensen , Stuart or similar engine .
For the price , i`d say one of these dynamos is a bargain .
Next time i order from F/C , i will be adding one to my order .
