Cyldon 13/3Since getting this engine from Ian, I have only run it the once and it has been sitting around not doing very much.
I was at a loose end today, so I thought I'd start cleaning/polishing it. I didn't want to make it so shiny that I had to break out a pair of sunglasses, so I worked in the brasso then took it off again with a polishing pad on my Dremel. Then when it was all polished up, I went over it with a cotton mop.
The burner was first.

They are super engines Mike. Now what I need is a Wormar ... or a Wilson ... or more Merseys ... or ....

Attentions turned to the engine itself today.
As the Aluminium is so rough, I couldn't get such a nice finish on it. Although there is a bit of a shine there...

They do come up at regular intervals, Mike. So I'm sure you will be able to find one during the course of the year
