Copper or Brass pipeFellow members,
Does anyone have any lengths of copper pipe 21/2" or bigger,12" long plus that they would like to part with for reasonable cost? As long as its not dented im not too worried about condition.I look forward to your replys,thanks guys,

RepliesThanks anway Mike,I have managed to pick up some 1mm wall thickness brass pipe and some plate the same of ebay recenlty,Silverfox I'm going to make a replica mamod,havent decided which model yet,might go for an SE4 replica.I will probably draw the sheet metalwork up in CAD and send it to a local fabricator I know who also has powdercoating facilities and get him to make the bases and fireboxes etc.

That,Mike is going to be one of my first things to do,to find one or a similar engine to obtain the dimms for the drawings,or I might go freestyle copy,which will look identical but the dimms will be different.

Thanks for the offer that would be a great help! I'll write up a list of dimms and pass it on to you if thats ok.I'll sit down one day over the weekend and do some rough sketches,do you have AutoCAD? If not would you download Autodesks .Dxf/.Dwg viewer to view the files?Thanks,
